This exposition is using a hall eight meters tall. Part of it separated by thermoformed acrylic in a shape of convex curve 80 cm high.
Both wet and dry part is covered by natural sand and transparency of the acrylic creates an illusion of one large beach.
Large Baltic fish are perfectly visible and 80 cm of acrylic cause so called touchpool (touch tank) effect.
Floor is warmed in a dry part which allows visitors to go barefoot, additional highlights are sunbeds and possibility for the children to play in the sand.
This exhibition allows visitors to get to know more about Baltic fauna and in addition to being fun, has high educational value.
Low running costs are of notice, as well as negligible cost of fish stocking.
